Tanya Tsikanovsky for West Hollywood City Council 2026 campaign logo

The work

Three priorities.
One working city.

Tanya’s campaign is focused on safer streets, stronger businesses, and accountable City Hall.

01

Safer Streets

Public safety is a civil right. Tanya supports working with LASD and community stakeholders while keeping specialized response programs additive—not a substitute for a strong sheriff presence.

02

Stronger Businesses

West Hollywood’s bars, restaurants, boutiques, dispensaries, and venues need predictable permits, practical regulation, and a City Hall that treats them as partners.

03

City Hall Accountability

Residents and local businesses deserve a City Hall that answers, listens, shortens permit delays, and follows through.

Tanya’s positions

My positions. Our priorities.

Ethics at City Hall

Public officials must disclose who employs them, who pays them, and potential conflicts of interest—and recuse themselves when those conflicts arise. Transparency across the board.

More deputies, more safety

Tanya supports more sheriff’s deputies on the ground, community engagement, and proven ways to keep West Hollywood safe. Security ambassadors should complement a strong law-enforcement presence.

Flock cameras—with clear, strict regulations

Tanya supports Flock cameras as a public-safety tool, with strong, clear regulations. Privacy and safety both matter. There is a middle ground.

A local TODAP

Tanya supports a Transit-Oriented Development Alternative Plan so West Hollywood has a say in how and where the city grows.

A safer Fountain Avenue—without bike lanes

Tanya opposes adding bike lanes on Fountain Avenue. She supports safety solutions for everyone who uses the corridor.

Businesses are our teammates

Business owners create jobs and keep West Hollywood vibrant. City Hall should treat them as partners and make it easier to open, operate, and thrive.

Smarter city revenue

Tanya supports a smarter, more diverse approach to city revenue, rather than relying on digital billboards as the city’s main financial strategy.
